An explosion ripped through the international arrivals hall at Moscow's busiest airport, killing 35 people and wounding about 140. It is generally regarded as Moscow's most up-to-date airport. The airport insists that security is one of its top priorities and take pride on its cutting-edge operations technology. The attack proved it wrong and the airport security procedures have been called into question. The blast affected not only the airport and passengers, stores and airlines that uses the service of Moscow’s airport have also had to close their doors, cancel or postpone flights. Beyond the immediate impact, such a terror event can change regulations, consumer behavior, etc that may lead to a more significant impact.
